Source hierarchy
Manuscripts, the Emir’s writings and contemporary documents are distinguished from later scholarship. An old source is not treated as neutral: its author, context and purpose must be considered.
Sources · method · credits
This collection distinguishes sources produced by the Emir, documents and testimonies from his time, historical scholarship and contemporary publications. Provenance, date, authorship, documentary status and access conditions are stated whenever they can be established.

Manuscripts, the Emir’s writings and contemporary documents are distinguished from later scholarship. An old source is not treated as neutral: its author, context and purpose must be considered.
Documented dates, people, works and institutions are separated from editorial connections. Uncertain formulations are qualified, and an unverified attribution is not presented as certain.
Each image category is identified as a document, historical work, reproduction or contemporary reconstruction. The register below records provenance, author, date and documentary or legal status when established.
A documented correction may amend, expand or remove content. Major editorial interventions are logged so that the site’s evolution remains legible.
Provenance · status · rights
This register does not turn an image into evidence. It states what each visual is, where it comes from and what documentary use can reasonably be made of it.
Editorial traceability
The log records changes that alter the status of a statement, the historical architecture of the narrative or the understanding of a document.
The collection is evolving. A documented correction may lead to a record being amended, expanded or removed.
Credits and provenance
Remaining uncertainties are identified as such. They are open documentary tasks, not information silently treated as established.
